01 Core Values & Purpose
LetterForLater was created to help people reflect, preserve memories, send long-term time capsule messages, and share unburdened thoughts anonymously ("Off My Chest"). To maintain a supportive community, every user must abide by our safety guidelines.
02 Prohibited Content & Zero Tolerance Policy
We maintain a strict Zero Tolerance Policy for abusive behavior and objectionable material. You may NOT post, share, or transmit any of the following:
- Harassment & Bullying: Personal attacks, targeted harassment, intimidation, or threats against any individual or group.
- Hate Speech: Discrimination, derogatory content, or incitement based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
- Explicit & Sexual Content: Sexually explicit material, pornography, or non-consensual imagery.
- Violence & Self-Harm: Content depicting, promoting, or encouraging physical violence, suicide, or self-harm.
- Illegal Activities & Doxxing: Sharing private personal information (PII), phone numbers, addresses, or promoting illegal acts.
- Spam & Scams: Deceptive links, promotional spam, commercial solicitations, or malware.
03 Reporting & Blocking Mechanisms
We empower our community with tools to keep their experience safe:
In-App Safety Tools (iOS & Web)
- Reporting Content: Tap the "..." button on any message or letter card and select "Report Post". Choose a reason (Harassment, Hate Speech, Explicit, Spam). Reported posts are instantly hidden from your view and queued for 24-hour review.
- Blocking Authors: Tap the "..." button and select "Block User". Blocking an author permanently hides all past and future posts from that user and prevents them from interacting with your posts.
- Managing Blocked Users: View and manage blocked users anytime under Settings → Safety & Privacy → Blocked Accounts.

To preserve service quality and prevent automated spam, feature limits apply based on your subscription tier:
